Dr. Bauer grew up in Peru Illinois with four younger siblings. He attended the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. He went on to attend the University of Illinois’ College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. Since then, he has worked as an associate dentist in two west suburban practices in addition to our Wheaton practice. He is married to Dr. Danielle Bauer, originally from Homer Glen, IL. Dr. Danielle is a Purdue graduate, a 2007 graduate of the UIC College of Dentistry, and a 2010 graduate of Orthodontics at UIC. They enjoy “Big Ten” sports and traveling when their schedule permits. Dr. Bauer and his wife have one boy named Bennett. Dr. Bauer loves the practice of dentistry and is committed to continuing education; as evidenced by his membership in the Academy of General Dentistry and the large number of courses he has already attended. Dr. Bauer’s stated goal is to provide his patients with quality dental care in the most comfortable conditions possible. He believes that well-educated patients make the best patients and hopes that his patients will always feel free to ask questions and bring their dental concerns to him for whenever they arise. Personal Statement from Dr. Bauer:
Hi! My name is Bryan Bauer and I look forward to meeting and getting to know you in our practice. I am passionate about dentistry and spend a great deal of time and effort to ensure that my patients have the most up to date and best quality dental treatment. Advances in technology have an impact in everything today and I know that without a commitment to a career of continual learning and growing I will not be providing the best possible care. That is one reason why I consistently take over 100 hours of continuing education a year, more than ten times the state requirement. A list of the topics that I have studied and am interested in can be found here. Furthermore I am 1 of 400 worldwide dentists that was selected to evaluate dental products for Clinicians Report. More information on what that organization is and what we do can be found here, but basically it is a consumer report for dental products. With literally hundreds of new products coming out every year I have found this organization to be one of the best tools to find the products and techniques that allow me to provide more efficient, long lasting care for my patients.
